New 11,000 square-foot worship space with an additional 13,000 square feet of gathering space, parish offices and partial mechanical room basement. The worship space roof features exposed prominent glued-laminated beams and rafters and tongue-and-groove roof decking with beautiful clerestory windows above the nave. Steel braced frames and concrete masonry unit walls were used strategically to maximize material efficiency. The project also included renovating select areas of the parish’s existing school building.
